Summer student employment program seeking applications
Would you like to stay in Newport this summer? Have you considered working on campus? The Office of Career Development is currently seeking applications for the summer student employment program.
Scheduled for May 26 to Aug. 7, the program provides students graduating between December 2015 and May 2018 with the opportunity to work on campus (at least 35 hours per week) in a variety of positions.
On-campus housing is provided but students are responsible for their own meals, which may be purchased in the Miley cafeteria. Positions pay minimum wage, which is currently $9 per hour.
The first step in the application process is to complete the summer employment interest form, available in the Salve Regina Gateway. The deadline to submit this form is Friday, Feb. 6. No forms will be accepted after that date.
For more information, or assistance with the application process, contact Darlene Fletcher at (401) 341-2405 or the Office of Career Development at (401) 341-2913.
