Tauro named libero of the week

For the third time this season, Dianna Tauro ’15 has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference libero of the week for women’s volleyball.
Tauro averaged 4.06 digs per set in a 2-1 week for Salve Regina. She also averaged 5.67 digs per set and recorded 17 digs total in a crucial 3-0 victory over conference foe Endicott College.
Salve Regina (15-8; 4-1 CCC) next plays on the road against Western New England University at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22. With a win, the Seahawks would leapfrog the Golden Bears in the conference standings.
