Three Seahawks to play in Globe Bowl
Three members of the football team – Matt Conroy ’15, Phil Terio ’15 and Steven Wilken ’15 – will participate in the inaugural Globe Bowl and fifth National Pro Day with scouts from the United States and abroad.
Set for Sunday, April 12 in Allentown, Pa., the Globe Bowl is a postseason football all-star game featuring standout college seniors and pro free agents. The bowl will feature a full roster of 100 players and feature coaches and scouts from around the world, including the Canadian Football League, Arena Football League and European scouts.
Last season, Conroy had 48 total tackles and a team-leading three interceptions for 159 yards and a touchdown. Terio recorded 51 tackles (39 solo) and one interception, which he returned 85 yards for a touchdown, while Wilken set season records for pass completions (211) and passing yards (2,438).
