Tickets available for NEFC championship game
The Salve Regina football team will travel to Framingham, Mass., on Saturday, Nov. 10 to play the Framingham State University Rams in the 2012 New England Football Conference (NEFC) championship game. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at Framingham’s Bowditch Field.
Tickets for the game can be purchased at the gate and are $5 for general admission, $3 for Salve Regina students with ID and $1 for children and seniors.
Tailgating will be allowed prior to the game, but grilling, open flames and alcohol will not be permitted.
The Rams and the Seahawks have met twice in the last three seasons, with their last meeting occurring Sept. 17, 2011 at Gaudet Field. The Seahawks emerged victorious 28-13, while the Rams had defeated Salve Regina 14-3 in Framingham the previous year.
The winner of the 2012 NEFC championship receives the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III championship, with pairings announced on Sunday, Nov. 11.
