Two lacrosse players earn conference honors
Men’s lacrosse player Pat Leary ’21 and women’s lacrosse player Christina Myers ’21 recently earned honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
Leary was named rookie of the week after averaging four points across two contests. In a win over Wentworth Institute of Technology, he recorded one goal and two assists, followed by a two-goal, three-assist performance in a close loss to the University of New England.
The Seahawks (9-4, 3-2 CCC) host Gordon College in another conference matchup at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18.
Myers was named rookie of the week after making a combined 34 saves in three games in goal, posting a 9.67 goals-against average. In a win over the University of New England, she matched her career-high in saves with 18. Myers boasts the third-best save percentage in the conference and it showed in the undefeated 3-0 week.
The Seahawks (4-7, 3-2 CCC) have won four straight games and host Gordon College in another conference matchup at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 18.
