Two more free flu clinics to be held in October
With the coronavirus pandemic still in full swing, it is crucial to get a flu shot this upcoming season — and preferably as soon as possible. To that end, Health Services and Matt’s Local Pharmacy will sponsor at least two more flu clinics on campus this fall in October.
Confirmed seasonal flu clinics for October will be held:
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22
An additional flu clinic may happen in November depending on demand, but it is not confirmed yet.
All clinics will be held on the south porch of Gerety Hall. Clinics are open to Salve Regina students, faculty and staff who are age 18 and up, and there is no charge for those who have insurance and no pre-registration or appointment is needed. Those wishing to be vaccinated should bring their insurance card.
