Dianna Tauro ’15 has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference libero of the year for women’s volleyball. Joining her on the all-conference squad are Katelyn Beauregard ’15 (honorable mention), Jennifer Duggan ’15 (first team), Emily Lipinski ’16 (honorable mention) and Taylor Violet ’15 (second team).
Tauro leads the Seahawks with 404 digs and 4.39 digs per set, both ranking fifth in the conference. She also surpassed the 1,000 career digs milestone this season, currently ranking fourth in program history with 1,253 career digs.
Beauregard totaled 29 blocks, 13 solo and a .277 hitting percentage this season, good enough for fourth in the conference.
Duggan leads the Seahawks with 309 kills and 3.47 kills per set. She also is second on the Seahawks with 298 digs. This season, Duggan surpassed both the 1,000 career digs and kills milestones, making her the only player in Salve Regina women’s volleyball history to accomplish both feats.
Lipinski recorded 162 kills and 30 blocks this season, 11 of which were solo blocks.
Violet leads the Seahawks with 811 assists and 9.42 assists per set. After becoming the program’s all-time assists leader in her sophomore year, she surpassed the 3,000 assist milestone this season and currently has 3,298 assists. Violet’s .64 service aces per set this season led the conference.
