Salve Studios, the University’s student-run film and video production club, will premiere its second film, “The Second Chance Waltz,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 in the DiStefano Lecture Hall.
In the film, two lifelong friends encounter an unfortunate twist in a fateful day among their lives. Can anyone be trusted?
“The Second Chance Waltz” stars Colin Burke ’17 and Mariana Bracciale ’16, with guest appearances by Mary Beth Luzitano ’06, ’12 (M) and well-known Rhode Island actor Bob Colonna. From an adaptation written by Jamie McGuire, the film was directed by Ryan Colwell ’17, edited by Kevin Onofreo ’17 and features a score by Greg Luzitano ’03.
A question-and-answer session will follow the premiere. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
Salve Studios is a film and video production club that provides access and opportunity for young videographers and filmmakers on campus to create original content. The club produces promo/event videos for other school clubs and the surrounding community, narrative short films and documentaries.
