Wednesday, Feb. 17 is National Resident Advisor Appreciation Day, and the Office of Residence Life is inviting members of the University community to extend thanks to Salve Regina’s Resident Advisors for the incredible work they do.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to thank Salve Regina’s RAs by posting messages of thanks and appreciation in the comment box below.
RAs are responsible for fostering healthy and safe learning communities for students in the residence halls. In addition to programming activities and events, RAs serve as conflict mediators, ensure safety in their areas and assist students with University resources. In addition to being students themselves, RAs show commitment not only to their residents, but to the wider University community through academics and as leaders in extracurricular clubs and organizations.
Current RAs were recognized during Tuesday’s men’s basketball game against Western New England University, and on Wednesday the Office of Residence Life will hold a festive celebration for the RAs in recognition of their hard work.
