Salve Regina will host the Middlebury-Monterey Summer Intensive College English program beginning July 1. Uniquely designed to support international students interested in attending undergraduate programs in the U.S., the program offers coursework in the English language skills necessary for success.
International students enrolled in the program will live on campus and receive more than 20 hours of instruction each week, focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and strategies.
Students have access to all campus resources and learn about American history and culture through field trips to Boston and New York as well as sporting, cultural and social events.
A six-week session for high-intermediate to advanced students begins Monday, July 1, while a four-week session for students at the low-intermediate level and higher begins Monday, July 15. A discount is offered to Salve Regina students.
