User Support Services offering certification workshops
Throughout the fall 2014 semester, User Support Services will offer workshops designed to prepare participants for Internet and Computing Core Certification as well as Microsoft Office Specialist Certification.

Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3-GS4)
This certification reflects the most relevant skills needed in today’s academic and business environments. All materials, including online practice, study guides, in-class meetings and exams, will be provided for free.
Classes will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the McKillop Library computer lab 005 beginning Oct. 8.
Microsoft Office Specialist
Become a Microsoft Professional with certifications in the newest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. All materials, including online practice, study guides, in-class meetings and exams, will be provided for free.
- Word 2013 classes will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays in the McKillop Library computer lab 005 beginning Oct. 6.
- Excel 2013 classes will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the McKillop Library computer lab 006 beginning Oct. 7.
- PowerPoint 2013 classes will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays in the McKillop Library computer lab 005 beginning Nov. 24.
- Outlook 2013 classes will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the McKillop Library computer lab 006 beginning Nov. 25.
