AMA holding annual “pick-a-prize” fundraiser

Salve Regina’s chapter of the American Marketing Association will hold its sixth annual fall fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2 in the O’Hare Academic Center lobby.

This year’s fundraiser is a “pick-a-prize” auction. Past auction items have included framed photographs, handmade afghans and jewelry, tickets to events, collectibles, household items and toys.

Tickets are $1 each, six for $5 or 15 for $10 for items valued at less than $50. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10 for items valued at more than $50. Winners will be drawn beginning at 3:15 p.m.

Proceeds from the auction will help the American Marketing Association continue its community events as well as support the team selected to represent Salve Regina at the International Collegiate American Marketing Association Conference in New Orleans in March 2016.

Donations for the auction are still being accepted. Donations should be brought to Dr. Nadia Abgrab in the O’Hare Academic Center, Room 207 or Rose Hambley in the O’Hare Academic Center, Room 262.
