Basketball, ice hockey graduates invited to alumni games

The Office of Alumni/Parent Programs is inviting graduates who played basketball and ice hockey to reunite with their former teammates during a series of alumni games in January.

Men’s ice hockey

The men’s ice hockey alumni game will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Portsmouth Abbey School. Alumni are invited to stay for the men’s game against Wentworth Institute of Technology, which will be held at 7:05 p.m.

An alumni gathering will follow at O’Brien’s Pub from 9:30-11:30 p.m. Attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

Hoopfest

The alumni basketball game for both men and women will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 in the Rodgers Recreation Center. Alumni are invited to stay for the men’s and women’s games against Nichols College, which will be held at 1 and 3 p.m.

An alumni and family gathering will run from halftime of the women’s game to halftime of the men’s game. Attendees are invited to cheer on the teams from the second floor of Rodgers while enjoying appetizers and a cash bar. Alumni are also invited to O’Brien’s Pub from 9-11 p.m. for complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

Women’s ice hockey

The women’s ice hockey alumni game will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at St. George’s School. Alumni are invited to stay for the women’s game against Becker College, which will be held at 7 p.m.

An alumni gathering will follow at O’Brien’s Pub from 9-11 p.m. Attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.
