The Office of Community Service is seeking applications for its new Mission Possible teen mentoring program. Created in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County, the program is designed to immerse local teenagers in a positive college culture.

Mission Possible exists to show teens the power of an education and encourage them to make choices that will lead them to a successful future. Mentors will build meaningful relationships with the teens in the program and challenge their worldview through team-building exercises, on-campus guest speakers and one-on-one activities.

The program will be held every other Thursday from 5:30-7 p.m. beginning Feb. 7. Attendance at each session is mandatory. An orientation will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 in Wakehurst, Room 202.
