The Center for Student Development is seeking students who are willing to learn, develop and utilize leadership skills to support new and first-year students. Students who share this interest are encouraged to complete the application to become a peer mentor for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Peer mentors serve as an integral resource for new and first-year students while providing them with a perspective of life at Salve Regina. They serve as leaders and resources to students enrolled in the First Year Transitions course, which they co-teach with an instructor who is a faculty or staff member at the University. The relationships that new students form with their mentors are admirable and advantageous.

Interested students should complete the student leadership application by Wednesday, Feb. 14.

More information regarding peer mentor positions is available on the First Year Experience webpage. Additional questions may be directed to the Center for Student Development at (401) 341-3288 or salvecsd@salve.edu.
