The men’s soccer team has earned the No. 4 seed for the Commonwealth Coast Conference championships and will host in-state rival Roger Williams University, the fifth seed, in a quarterfinal match at noon Saturday, Nov. 2 at Reynolds Field.

Roger Williams holds a 22-9-1 lead in the all-time series, dating back to the 1983 season. More recently, the Seahawks won a 2-1 decision against the Hawks during Fall Festival Weekend (Sept. 28).

Since 1998, Salve Regina has won three Commonwealth Coast Conference championships. In the 2012 championships, Salve Regina defeated Eastern Nazarene College in quarterfinal action, then Gordon College in its semifinal before capturing its third championship with a title victory over Nichols College.
