Education majors inducted as charter members of Kappa Delta Pi

Sixty-nine education majors became charter members of Salve Regina’s new chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education when they were inducted during a ceremony on Saturday, April 21 in Bazarsky Lecture Hall.

Keynote speaker Susan Trostle Brand, Kappa Delta Pi’s chapter counselor from the University of Rhode Island, officially installed Salve Regina’s new Upsilon Upsilon chapter and presented its charter. Elaine Silva Mangiante, assistant professor of education and Salve’s chapter counselor, installed its inaugural officers: Lindsay Conrad, president; Elise Capozzi, vice president; Emma Knowlton, secretary; and Benjamin Conover, treasurer.

      A virtual information session is designed for those who are in the college search and application process. If you would like to learn more about Salve Regina University and have your questions answered in a live chat, this is the best place to start. Our sessions last approximately one hour.

      You will also be able to view our virtual tour as part of your registration for this presentation.
