Exhibition highlights scholarly, artistic achievements of Salve faculty
The Dorrance H. Hamilton Gallery is currently displaying the 2018 Faculty Exhibition, which highlights the scholarly and artistic achievements of the faculty in the Department of Art and Art History and the Noreen Stonor Drexel Cultural and Historic Preservation Program.
The gallery is featuring the work of 10 faculty members in the areas of photography, painting, ceramics, illustration, graphic design, art history, architectural history, archeology and mixed-media. This installation showcases the images, objects, information and media that shape the research of Bert Emerson, Justin Gerace, Jodie Mim Goodnough, Ernest Jolicoeur, Anthony F. Mangieri, Jon Marcoux, Gerry Perrino, Matthew Solomon, Susannah Strong and Jeroen van den Hurk.
The 2018 Faculty Exhibition runs through Sunday, Nov. 18. On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the campus community and the general public are invited to a reception with the faculty, which will run from 5-7 p.m. in the gallery.
The gallery is handicap accessible with parking along Lawrence and Leroy avenues. Its exhibits are open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The gallery is closed on Mondays.
