Faculty honored for service, achievements
Salve Regina honored faculty members for their service and commitment to the University community during the annual faculty luncheon, held last Saturday during Commencement weekend. Attendees were also given a booklet detailing their colleagues’ achievements for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Earlier in the day, at the Honors and Awards ceremony, Dr. Eileen Gray, assistant professor and chairwoman of nursing, and Mary Lou Lyons, lecturer in nursing, received the Faculty Recognition Award. Presented annually, the award is determined by nomination and votes cast by the members of the junior and senior classes.
