International Programs offering scholarships for study abroad

The Office of International Programs has announced several new scholarship opportunities for students interested in studying abroad in summer or fall 2018 or spring 2019.
Summer 2018 Competitions
- Dominican Republic scholarships: Up to 10 students will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Salveās summer program in the Dominican Republic. The application deadline is Thursday, Feb. 15. Interested students should complete the short-term program application by this date.
Summer/Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Competitions
- Generation Study Abroad travel grants: Applications for these $2,000 awards are due Wednesday, March 7. Applications are available online.
- Benjamin Gilman Scholarship: Applications for these awards of up to $5,000 are due Tuesday, March 6. Applications are available online.
- Salve Regina semester study abroad scholarships. There are multiple internal competitions and award amounts vary. Applications are due March 1 for fall and academic year programs. Applications are available online.
Interested students should review the above websites for eligibility requirements and may seek further assistance through the Office of International Programs.
