Men’s tennis player Aaron Isch ’13 was named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference second singles team, and his doubles partner, Collin Gunning ’14, received honorable mention accolades.

“Aaron has led his teammates as a captain for the last two years at Salve Regina,” said head coach Kevin Pease. “His unending competitive spirit and ability against high-ranking No. 1 opponents is amazing. As a leader, he provides instructional help to the younger players during practice. Always keeping the bigger picture in mind, he inspires through action and is a true gentleman.”

Isch plans to get a master’s in business administration at Salve Regina next year and return as an assistant coach with the men’s tennis program.

“Colin put in lots of time and effort in improving his singles and doubles game in the off-season and during the academic year, and it shows,” Pease said. Gunning played all of his doubles matches in the top spot, including 12 with Isch and one apiece with Monaf Awwa ’15 and Khoa Nguyen ’16.
