Seahawk weekly workout challenge: the palm squat

The Seahawk Strength and Conditioning YouTube channel is offering weekly challenges where you can try out different workout challenges and compete to be the winner of the week’s challenge. Each week’s challenge will be available on Wednesdays.

Keep in mind that you must make a simple video of yourself doing the challenge and submit it to this form to be considered for the winner of the week’s challenge. Submissions will be accepted from Wednesday through Sunday evening.

This week’s challenge is the palm squat. Watch below for the rules of this particular challenge and submit your videos if you’d like to compete.

While you’re at it, go check out some of the other great workout videos on the Seahawk Strength and Conditioning YouTube channel.

While some of the workouts require equipment, a lot of them can be done using your very own home to help inspire you during remote living. In fact, try out a few highlighted workouts right now from the comfort of your home.

Use a workout band to challenge your workout routine

If you’re wanting to change things up with your home workouts, get a workout band and use it to enhance your workout. Watch the video below to see how to get a great full body work out using this technique to mimic a row machine. Then get on the floor ad try out a chest press using the workout band. Both exercises are in the video below.

Watch SeahawkTalk™ live on YouTube

Don’t forget that Salve Regina University Athletics is also hosting a daily SeahawkTalk™ show on the official Salve Athletics YouTube channel with weekly appearances by all 18 head coaches for 20 segments per week. The show is happening live on YouTube Monday through Friday at 3-4 p.m. EST.
