The McKillop Library is launching a community art space in the second-floor stairwell. Faculty and staff, as well as students, are invited to submit artwork for display. The space includes a track system for hanging artwork on the wall along with several display cases for three-dimensional objects.

While the library will make no effort to censor artwork, exhibitors are reminded that the library is open to the public and that the second floor houses the curriculum resource center, where children sometimes visit. Artwork that is acceptable for family viewing is preferred.

Works of art will be displayed on a rotating basis and artists will be contacted to pick their artwork when the library changes the displays. Click here for further details or to complete a display registration form and waiver.

Any questions about the community art space should be directed to Lisa Underhill at (401) 341-2290 or lisa.underhill@salve.edu, or Julie Swierczek at (401) 341-2172 or julie.swierczek@salve.edu.
