Pascale named offensive player of the week

The New England Football Conference has named running back Sam Pascale ’17 its offensive player of the week.

Pascale rushed for 211 yards on 25 carries in Salve Regina’s 32-14 victory over Castleton University last Saturday. He found the end zone in the second quarter when he took a toss and ran 66 yards down the sideline, snaking his way past Spartans defenders for a score that gave Salve Regina its first lead of the afternoon.

Salve Regina, now 2-0 on the season, will begin its conference schedule with a matchup against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 in New London, Conn.
