Marissa Pendergast ’14 has been invited to play in the New England Women’s Basketball Association’s 2014 Senior All-Star Classic, which will be played at Smith College on Saturday, March 29.

A Commonwealth Coast Conference first-team selection, Pendergast averaged 13 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.9 steals, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game this season. She finished the 2013-2014 campaign as the team’s leading rebounder with 286 boards and second highest scorer with 350 points, while earning a .412 field-goal percentage. Pendergast also finished first in steals (50) and blocks (38) and third in assists (47).

Pendergast became the 12th women’s basketball player in school history to reach the 1,000-point milestone (Jan. 11 against Gordon College). She led the conference in rebounding and was the only conference player to average a double-double for the season.
