Phalon named to New England Writers all-star team

Forward Danielle Phalon ’16 has been named to the New England Writers Division II/III women’s ice hockey all-star team, which consists of five forwards, four defensemen and two goaltenders.

Phalon earned the honor after an impressive sophomore season for the Seahawks. She finished the year with 29 points on 11 goals and 18 assists. In her career, Phalon is tied for seventh with four game-winning goals.

Currently, Phalon ranks second in a single season with 18 assists and is tied for second in points in a single season. She needs four points and four assists to tie first place in both of those categories.

Following the season, Phalon was named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Women’s East all conference team.
