Salve Regina to award 659 degrees during 64th Commencement
President Jane Gerety, RSM, will confer 659 degrees Sunday, May 18 when the University celebrates its 64th Commencement on the oceanside lawn of McAuley Hall. The academic procession steps off at 9:15 a.m., with the ceremony scheduled to begin beneath the commencement tent at 10 a.m.
Sister Jane will confer 485 baccalaureate degrees, 171 master’s degrees and three doctorates.
Richard Saul Wurman, the highly distinguished pioneer of information architecture who founded the TED conference and has authored 83 books on topics ranging from football to health care to city guides, will offer remarks to graduates and be awarded an honorary doctorate in humane letters.
