SGA seeking candidates for executive board, senate positions
The Student Government Association is seeking candidates for 2013-2014 executive board and senate positions. Nomination packets for president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, public relations coordinator and senator are now available online, in the SGA office in Wakehurst, Room 200, or the Office of Student Activities in Wakehurst, Room 012.
Elections will be held April 24-25 via eBallot.
Nomination packets should be submitted to the Office of Student Activities by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 11. A mandatory campaign meeting will be held at 6 p.m. April 11 in Wakehurst, Room 204. Active campaigning may not begin until after the meeting.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Salve Regina at the time of the election, and must maintain eligibility per the SGA constitution.
- Must not be on probation, either academic or behavioral, as determined by University regulations.
- Must not hold more than one executive or legislative office within the student government at a time.
Voting will begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 24 and will close at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 25. All full-time and part-time undergraduate students are eligible to vote.
