The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2019-20 season with the announcement of the fourth annual Krampade All-Star Scholars for men’s and women’s ice hockey.

Due to the effects of the coronavirus on actual grades in the spring, the AHCA adopted revised criteria for this year’s honorees. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for the fall semester and participated in 40% of their school’s games.

Salve Regina had three men’s ice hockey players and three women’s ice hockey members qualify for the honor.

Men’s ice hockey

  • Paul Boutoussov ’21 business administration major
  • Vincenzo Renda, ’21, biology major
  • Louis-Felix St. Jean, ’23, business administration major

Women’s ice hockey

  • Lexie Anderson, ’20, marketing major
  • Kylee Babcock, ’20, history major
  • Caroline Prezioso, ’20, elementary education major
