Social Work Club sponsoring dress down day March 7
The Social Work Club will sponsor a dress down day to benefit Hand in Hand Ministries on Thursday, March 7. Faculty and staff who wish to participate may buy a sticker for $5, which will allow them to “dress down” on that day.
Many homes were destroyed in Belize City as a result of the 2011 hurricane. Proceeds from the dress down day will help Hand in Hand Ministries rebuild a house in Belize City, following the Social Work Club’s mission to assist in rebuilding homes for oppressed populations.
Members of the Social Work Club will visit faculty and staff offices this week to sell stickers. In addition, stickers will be available in the Office of Human Resources.
