Special Olympics committee seeking volunteers

Salve Regina’s Special Olympics committee is seeking student volunteers for the East Bay area games, which will be held at Gaudet Middle School in Middletown on Saturday, April 12.

“The day is very motivating and inspiring, and the Special Olympics athletes love seeing Salve students cheering them on and supporting them in their athletic events,” said Laura St. Jean ’14, director of the Special Olympics committee.

Volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Informational meeting for students who are interested in volunteering will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 2 and Wednesday, April 9 in Angelus Hall, Room 102.
