Student Activities seeking donations for Dance Marathon
Salve Regina will host an 18-hour dance marathon to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. The Office of Student Activities is asking faculty and staff to consider donating food, beverages and supplies to help sustain the dancing students.
Salve Regina is the first and only university in Rhode Island to host a dance marathon through the Children’s Miracle Network. The Salve Dance Marathon will last until noon Sunday, Feb. 24.
Although the organizers have received several corporate donations, contributions from faculty and staff will help curb the costs associated with feeding such a large group for the duration of the event.
