Tickets for Commencement Week events now available

Tickets for all Commencement Week activities – ranging this year from a Mohegan Sun bus trip to the highly anticipated Commencement Ball – are now available. Held each May between finals and graduation weekend, Commencement Week is one of Salve Regina’s most enduring traditions.

Unless otherwise specified, all Commencement Week events are for graduating seniors only. Tickets must be purchased online for all events except the senior cocktail reception. The deadline to purchase tickets is 5 p.m. Friday, May 10.

The Commencement Week schedule is as follows:

Mohegan Sun bus trip

The trip departs from the Rodgers Recreation Center at 6 p.m. Monday, May 13. The cost is $10, which includes transportation, casino voucher and food voucher. Students may purchase one guest ticket for this event. All students and guests must be 21.

Night at the Pelham

The event will be held from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at One Pelham East in downtown Newport. The cost is $10, which includes a DJ and specialty pizzas. Cash bar, must be 21 and present valid ID. The bar will be closed to the public, and students must purchase tickets through Salve Regina to attend this event.

Senior clambake

The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 on the Ochre Court patio/lawn. The cost is $20, which includes a surf and turf meal and DJ. Cash bar, must be 21 and present valid ID.

63rd annual Commencement Ball

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Newport Marriott Hotel. The cost is $60, which includes a full dinner. Black tie formal, cash bar, must be 21 and present valid ID. Students may purchase one guest ticket for this event.

Senior cocktail reception

The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 17 in Ochre Court. The cost is $5, which includes a DJ and photo booth. Tickets may be purchased in the Office of Alumni/Parent Programs, located in Ochre Court, Room 316. Seniors may purchase guest tickets beginning Monday, May 6, provided the event is not sold out.
