Two Seahawks earn conference honors

Congratulations to the following men’s ice hockey players, who recently received honors from the Eastern College Athletic Conference:

Michael Naso ’15

Naso was named player of the week after making key contributions in wins over Suffolk University and Curry College. He tallied a goal and an assist against Suffolk before netting another goal and adding an assist versus Curry.

Through 19 games this season, Naso has two goals and eight assists.

Evan Schmidbauer ’18

Schmidbauer was named rookie of the week for the second straight week following his efforts in Salve Regina’s 7-3 win over conference opponent Suffolk University. He recorded a goal and an assist to finish with two points on the week.

Through 19 games this season, Schmidbauer has five goals and three assists.

The Seahawks are back in action Wednesday, Feb. 11 when the team takes on Becker College at 7:35 p.m. at Portsmouth Abbey.
