For a group of 20 students, spring break kicked off with a trip to Maine for the seventh annual Northeastern Undergraduate Research and Development Symposium (NURDS).
Held at the University of New England, the science conference provides an opportunity for undergraduates to present their individual research projects to a wider scientific community. Thirty colleges and universities were represented this year.
Kathleen Gamez ’16, Clarissa Morganti ’15, Rhiannon Morrissey ’16 and Zoe Moskwa ’15 received awards for their oral and poster presentations.
