With the fall 2016 semester underway, the Sullivan Fitness Center has announced its latest schedule of fitness classes. All classes are held in the Rodgers Recreation Center aerobics studio and are free for students. Personal training is also available at an added cost.
Monday
- Cardio blast/strength and core, 7-8 p.m.
Tuesday
- Yoga for all levels – 11 a.m. to noon (no experience needed, bring a yoga mat if you have one)
- Boot camp – Noon to 1 p.m.
Wednesday
- Yoga for all levels – 11 a.m. to noon (no experience needed, bring a yoga mat if you have one)
- Cardio blast/strength and core, 7-8 p.m.
Thursday
- Boot camp: Noon to 1 p.m.
The fitness center is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. For additional updates, follow the fitness center on Facebook.
The Newport County YMCA pool is also available to Salve Regina students. Students who show their University ID at the desk have the option to purchase a 10-swim punch card for $25 or pay a drop-in fee of $3 per swim. Through the YMCA’s 30 Under 30 program, monthly memberships are $30 for all members under the age of 30.
