The Department of History will hold its 32nd annual senior thesis presentations Saturday, Dec. 5 in the DiStefano Lecture Hall. Seven senior history majors are scheduled to present and defend their theses throughout the day.
Members of the Salve Regina community and the general public are invited to attend, and may stay for any length of time. The schedule is:

- 10:30 a.m. – Ashley Woodworth: “The Billary Administration: How Hillary Clinton Redefined the Role of First Lady of the United States”
- 11:15 a.m. – Nicole Smith: “Samuel Slater and the Development of Southern Worcester County, Massachusetts”
- 1:15 p.m. – Michael McNamara: “Burnt Offerings: How the ‘City of Angels’ Engulfed Any and All Involved in the Rodney King Affair and the Los Angeles Riots”
- 2 p.m. – J.P. Silvestri: “Admiral Farragut: The Civil War’s Forgotten Hero”
- 2:45 p.m. – Rose Durand: “‘An Irresistible Tide’: The Reign of Terror and the Self-Inflicted Demise of the French Revolutionaries”
