University accepting applications for Tuition Exchange Program
Salve Regina is now accepting applications for the Tuition Exchange Program for the 2014-2015 academic year.
The Tuition Exchange Program (TEP) is a nonprofit organization that allows qualified dependents of full-time faculty and staff with at least five years of full-time service to the University to apply for full scholarships at other TEP colleges and universities. The program is based on a balanced system in which Salve Regina must “import” as many students as it “exports” to continue offering these scholarships.
Eligible faculty and staff who will have a child in college in fall 2014 may call Jackie Jaquette at (401) 341-2137 for a list of participating schools, the TEP policy and an application form. The full packet may also be downloaded from the Human Resources document library in My Salve.
Applications for dependents for the 2014-2015 academic year must be received in the Office of Human Resources by Tuesday, Oct. 1. Dependents currently in the program need to complete an application to renew their scholarship.
Employees who would like more information are invited to attend a financial aid and tuition benfits/exchange workshop from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in the Ochre Court breakfast room. Call Cindy Donnelly at (401) 341-3160 to register.
