User Support Services offering Microsoft Office certifications
User Support Services is once again offering Microsoft Office certifications to members of the University community. Students, faculty and staff can choose from Outlook and/or Word courses, which will be offered throughout October and November.
Outlook 2016
As a personal information manager available through the Microsoft Office suite, Outlook includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking, journal and web browser in addition to its email system. The certification program will meet from 10-11 a.m. Wednesdays from Oct. 19 through Nov. 16 in the McKillop Library, computer lab 006.
Word 2016
Core certification in this cornerstone of Office 2106 will introduce participants to features they never knew existed. The course will also cover Word features participants may have heard about, but never used. The certification program will meet from 10-11 a.m. Fridays from Oct. 21 through Nov. 18 in the McKillop Library, computer lab 006.
In November, User Support Services will offer individual workshops on Office 2016 programs, including Word, OneNote and PowerPoint, along with certification in Excel and PowerPoint.
