Workshop focusing on humor in the workplace

Representatives from Coastline EAP will present a workshop focusing on humor in the workplace from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 in the Ochre Court breakfast room.

The workshop will explore how laughter and humor can improve communication, increase productivity and boost morale. Learn how humor can reduce stress and increase productivity, create moments of play to release tension and boost morale and learn strategies to assist and/or avoid humor-impaired individuals.

Employees on the University’s health insurance plan who attend at least two HR-sponsored wellness workshops during 2014 will be eligible to receive a $25 payroll credit, which will be distributed in February 2015. You must be actively employed and on the payroll in February 2015 to receive the credit.
